About the Author
Jacqueline Drye has been educating children for over 20 years. She has written many stories, poems, songs and skits for the children in her classes and now she is sharing some of these treasures with you!
Ms. Drye believes that children really are our future and because of this, they need a strong educational foundation. They also need to hear that they are important, can make a difference and indeed have much to offer the world.
In Ms. Drye's first book, Jo Jo the Bunny has to face many challenges on his way to the top of a mountain. Some of us are facing our own challenges as we try to get "to the top" as well! We may be trying to get to the top in our careers, in our personal lives, or trying to reach some other goal. The question is this - Will you give up, or will you do like Jo Jo and just keep telling yourself, "I can do this!"
Ms. Drye is a graduate of James Madison University, JMU Graduate School and Virginia Commonwealth University. She holds degrees and/or certifications in Early Childhood Education, School Counseling, Gifted Education and Educational Leadership.
Ms. Drye is a proud member of St. Paul's Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is also a licensed real estate agent in the Central Virginia Region.
